The project centres on Cordoba Rewards, the enterprise incentives platform operated by Cordoba Group. The engagement began when Founder Peter McDonnell sought a technology partner capable of matching the pace of Cordoba’s enterprise growth.

The core challenge was architectural as much as commercial. Cordoba’s business model depended on onboarding large enterprise clients such as Siemens and XPO Logistics, and each new client required a dedicated tenant environment provisioned quickly, without disrupting the platform already serving existing users. Client feedback also needed to move into production fast, since a slow-release cycle would have put Cordoba at a competitive disadvantage in the rewards technology market. SHALIGRAM’s UK team was engaged directly to address this: on-site within a day of the first conversation, gathering requirements, mapping the platform architecture, and initiating the first build sprint almost immediately.
